Things I have done today

1. I ate a bowl of Chocolate H*ney Bunches of *ats. It was actually pretty good, so I will probably buy it again - with the coupon that actually means they are paying me 50 cents to buy it.

2. Went to work. Not as exciting.

3. Turned in an initial application to an egg d0nor program in town. They might take one look at me and laugh, but we'll see.

4. Came home to find my husband working in the yard. It looks pretty good. We're going to have a bbq for Memorial Day, so if anyone is in the Indy area (or wants to travel to the Indy area) you're invited! A_ went to culinary school so he can make fancy French sauces and whatnot, but his real talent is in brisket. Mmmm. I'm salivating.

5. I haven't done it yet, but I am going to my friends' house tonight for my annual tv guilty pleasure kickoff: So Y*u Think Y*u Can Dance!
I can't help it. It is so much fun.

5. Written my 100th post! This is it!

  3. Woot! ONE HUNDRED!!!!

You should be careful with invites for brisket. H and I actually completely cancelled our orders and walked out of a bbq joint yesterday when they told us that they had just sold the last of their brisket. I'm a Texas girl who is stuck in Carolina BBQ-land. It's sucking my soul.
So, I mean, we were looking for something to do this weekend. Indy's only 8.5 hrs away from here...

SYTYCD! Nine minutes and counting! I can't wait. I'm glad I have someone online I can share the obsession with. I knew you were my internet BFF for a reason!

  4. I totally think your egg donation is wonderful and could bring you good karma. Is Indy within 3 hours of Chicago? My doctor may not let me go that far but how I would love to show up at your bbq!

  8. I just found your blog through some others. Love your writing style. :) I'm sorry for some of the crap that's going on right now. The economy blows and sometimes so does life.

Best wishes to you and your husband. It's incredibly awesome of you to consider being a donor.

Thanks for your sweet comment the other day - I'm hermiting a little bit right now, but I'll try to be better as I gear up for NaComLeavMo.

And awesome for your application for the egg donor thing. You're my hero! For this and many other reasons...

Brisket is grrreat that is what we are having as well. My husband is not a chef so I have to settle for smoked brisket in beer..oh well it is tasty.

  12. Whoopee! 100 posts of Iosity!

I wish we could get up to enjoy the brisket, but I'll likely have to work and clean the house (parental visit on Tuesday). I really know how to have fun, right?

  13. Congrats on the 100th post. Your cereal sounds good but we only by store brand so... unless they come out with some fake version I have to wait until the economy gets better.

I am new to your blog but I love your hair. It's red, like mine!
