Oh lordy

In case there is ever any question about how I gained fifty pounds after meeting A, I present the following evidence:

My husband decided to whip up some dough, fry it, and cover it in powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Damn it. Zeppoli is WRONG and yet so RIGHT.

  2. I'm coming over for supper. And I don't care what verboten ingredients are in those things.

Full-time job and NaComLeavMo and reading my favorite blogs = incompatible. Sorry I'm so absent. Your comments always make my day, and here I am with 62 unread feeds in my Google Reader... Hopefully once I get used to the routine I'll be able to keep up a lot better.

P.S. I grew up in the midwest. My hubby and I are thinking about moving back.

  8. I am currently using the Force to mind control both you and A, making you desire to move to DC where you will both be successful, continue to be awesome and make me pastries.

    ...is it working?

  10. I think I love your husband - would he marry me?

My 25ish came strictly from overindulging in the alcoholic beverages on the weekend. i stopped that though - now I have no indulgences at all. Crap - can you pass me some zeppoli's please.

  11. wow...do you think you could put about 3 lbs of those in your car and take them for a ride - they look like they want a ride - I'd suggest about a 2.5 hour ride in the north-easterly direction...i think that will make me (er...them) happy.

    :)

  13. gurblegurble drooldrooldrool...
Reading your blog is messy today. Saliva on keyboard is never good.

Those are some damn fine looking zeppoli there. Makes me wanna make some beignets.

And now we know why *I* gained 50 lbs, since I'm incredibly swayed by the power of suggestion.

  17. Oooohhhh sooooo goood. I'd like to lick the screen, but that's kinda gross.

Io, I hid those bifocal pictures so well that I don't even remember where they are. I don't even think I have any here. They're in a deep, dark closet somewhere at my mom's house. Let's not mention the fact that because it was the late 80's, I was also rockin' a Jheri curl at the time. I shudder.
