There are so many reasons I am excited about President Obama. These reasons have nothing to do with the color of his skin.
But it makes me cry with joy at someday having biracial children who will be able to see a President who looks like them.
That hits me square in the heart.

  5. I am in total awe of Obama - I love to listen to him......I think he's amazing. To be honest.....this is the first election I have ever cared about. It's the first one that I actually think matters.......where we will get REAL change........not just more of the same.

I was in bed before the speeches last night so I'm off to cry some more at how much better the world is this morning.

  9. It's a beautiful thing. Again, I'm just so proud to have been a part of it. Yay for your kids (and kids of all minorities) being able to see that yes, they can.

  11. I am proud of your country. I was the first Canadian born in to my family. The rest are Americans.

What a sense of pride you must have! Congratulations on voting in a President who can make change!

  15. Yay Obama! So many kids will be able to look up to him. The African American boys on my street are psyched that there will be kids like them in the White House.

I think having a bi-racial president almost says more then a black president. What could be more American then that?

  16. I saw you on Ya Ya's blog list and I had to pop over to tell you how hard I laughed when I read the title of your blog! Who shot my stork?! You are so funny.

  17. Hello -

I am new to your blog and started following a few days ago. I found you on Kym's blogroll. I think you're hilarious, so I am stalking you. Hope you don't mind. Just kidding about the stalking, but I really did stay up far too late last night getting caught up on your posts. I read every single post of yours - beginning to end.

Please know in advance that I am fertile, and I hope you won't hate me for that.

    - Stacie
